Rory MacDonald Headlines PFL Playoffs From Cardiff, UK

Rory MacDonald will be in the main event as the PFL playoffs head overseas.

MacDonald will face Magomed Umalatov on August 13 from Cardiff, Wales. The card airs live on ESPN and marks the first PFL event from the United Kingdom.

MacDonald and Umalatov will meet in one of the welterweight semifinals. In the other, Sadibou Sy and Carlos Leal collide.

The main card will also feature the two heavyweight semifinal fights. Ante Delija faces Renan Ferreira and Denis Goltsov meets Bruno Cappelozza.

“The Playoffs are always an exciting time and I can’t wait to see these amazing fighters compete for a chance to become PFL Champion,” said President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo. “I’m also thrilled to see so many great fighters from Europe competing for a place in the PFL.”
