Virgil Diagnosed With Stage 2 Colon Cancer

Some sad news to report as Virgil has been diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. This comes only a month after he reveled that he was suffering from dementia.

Also, he suffered two strokes a week before learning of his dementia diagnosis. Truly, it has been a horrible few months for Virgil.

Virgil’s biggest moment in pro wresting was serving as Ted DiBiase’s bodyguard. That manager type role lasted for awhile, before the two split.

The result was Virgil winning the Million Dollar Championship at SummerSlam 1991. He did not hold the title long as DiBiase regained it.

That program was the biggest push of his pro wrestling career. He jumped ship to to WCW and became part of the NWO.

That five year run ended in 2000. Since then, he made a several appearances for WWE and one in 2019 for AEW.

Mostly, he has remained busy on the Indies. He is also not afraid to charge people for a picture, autograph or anything else imaginable.

From everyone at Wrestle Newz, we wish the best for Virgil during this tough time. He has long battle ahead, but he is not a quitter.

When Roman Reigns turned heel almost two years ago, it took some convincing to get his cousins onboard. Eventually, The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jay Use) joined Reigns as one unit.

On the latest episode of WWE After the Bell with Corey Graves, The Usos were present. Jimmy made it clear there is room for more in the Bloodline as they have plenty of relatives.

Missing from the group is Naomi, who is married to Jimmy. According to Jimmy, she is ready to be part of the stable.

“It’s very likely man, she talks about it a lot,” said Jimmy. “She talks about it like, ‘I’m ready to just snap.’”

“She can snap man, she’s snapped on my a— plenty of times, so she could bring that promo. She’s so ready to try something new.”

“She’s always been adaptive, she gets it that’s why she’s been around. Sometimes I forget she’s been here 10 years too.”

If Naomi joins the group, that might mean even more gold for the family. For two years now, Reigns and the Bloodline have been unstoppable as they continue to collect gold.

At least it will give Naomi something to do. Mostly, she has not been featured well on SmackDown.
