Paul-Woodley 2 Results: Jake Paul Finishes Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul dealt with adversity this time.

And came out on top again.

Paul knocked Tyron Woodley out in the main event of their rematch Saturday night. The card took place from Tampa and the Amalie Arena.

While Woodley was able to open up a cut on the forehead of Paul, he wasn’t able to continue to apply pressure. Instead, it was Paul landing the final blow to end it.

The first meeting went to Paul, as he picked up a split decision in August. Paul was scheduled to meet Tommy Fury, the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but he pulled out due to injury.

Woodley, who won the UFC welterweight title and was a standout wrestler in college, has transitioned into boxing.

In the co-main event, Amanda Serrano had no trouble with Miriam Gutierrez.

Serrano, the reigning WBC, WBO and IBO featherweight champion, improved to 42-1-1 in her boxing career. The bout was a non-title fight.

The main card also featured a bout between former pro athletes. Deron Williams, a star for the Utah Jazz in the NBA, bested Frank Gore, an ex-NFL running back.

The two met in the heavyweight division in a four-round bout.

Liam Paro kicked off the pay-per-view with a victory over Yomar Alamo via split decision.

On the prelims, Chris Avila, J’Leon Love and Jeovanny Estela were all winners.
