Chael Sonnen took a page out of the book of Jon Jones recently.
Sonnen was involved in a Las Vegas incident that involved several other people.
According to a report by MMA Fighting, the former UFC title contender committed misdemeanor battery against five separate victims.
“Sonnen was issued a battery citation for each individual victim, then escorted off property,” Las Vegas Police Public Information Officer Larry Hadfield wrote in a statement. “Due to the fact the misdemeanors were committed outside of a police officer’s presence, an arrest was not conducted.”
In a video released to TMZ, a man that appears to be Sonnen is shown being walked down a hallway in handcuffs.

Sonnen has not commented on the incident. He currently works on ESPN for UFC and Bellator broadcasts, and has a show on ESPN.
Jones, though, did make a post on social media on the matter.
“Chael Sonnen, I’m not gonna sit here and celebrate you getting battery charges against a female last night,” Jones wrote. “That would make me like you, and I’m nothing like you. Instead I will wish your family well, I wish the victims family well.”
