This past Saturday during AEW Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV), Kenny Omega lost the World title. However, that may be the least of the superstar’s problems right now. More details, below.

Kenny Omega – Time Off?

Dave Meltzer chats about Omega during his latest Wrestling Observer Radio. He states that Kenny will undergo a medical examination for several issues.

Meltzer didn’t reveal what the specifics are or if there’s an injury of concern during his report. He notes that Omega had been dealing with “all kinds” of things during the past months.

Dave adds that Kenny intended to “push” through these issues as he was AEW Champion. In addition, he wanted to finish his storyline with Adam Page.

Meltzer also states that Omega was dealing with vertigo over the last three years. In fact, “ring-spinning” was a regular thing for Kenny while in that squared circle.

Will Kenny Omega Need Time Off?

Dave did not mention if Kenny Omega would be taking time off. All of that is unclear at the moment.

Meltzer adds that more info might come down the pipe on this story, by the end of the week. It seems like if Kenny needs time off, now would be a good time.

Especially with him dropping the title to Adam Page on Sunday. WNZ will keep fans up-to-date, as more details surface.

Over in the land of the WWE, the company is clearing the way for a former Impact star. According to reports, he’s being “fast-tracked” through the backstage system.

Petey Williams Likely Scoring WWE Job

Petey Williams recently tried out for a WWE Producer role at SmackDown and RAW tapings, late last month. He was given the opportunity after getting praise for his recent years as a producer for Impact.

As per a report, the company is pushing him through the behind-the-scenes system as a WWE producer. He’s certainly impressed the powers that be at the company.

Williams shadowed a recent SmackDown match where Universal Champion Roman Reigns faced off against King Xavier Woods. WWE Producer and Hall of Famer Michael “PS” Hayes is the one who produced that match.

Shadowing WWE Producers

Hayes generally is the producer wh oversees Roman Reigns’ matches. According to the report, Williams is shadowing PS Hayes and other WWE producers so he can be “fast-tracked” into the backstage system.

In addition, Williams will continue to shadow others as he learns the ways of the WWE. The company is putting him through all this at a “rapid pace”.

It won’t be too long before Williams starts doing things on his own. It’s clear the WWE sees value in his work and had him hit the ground running with this job.

Petey’s tryout began just days before he worked backstage at an Impact event. The Bound for Glor PPV was October 23rd.

He also worked on Impact’s post-PPV set of television tapings. A few days later, he was trying out for the WWE.

Williams is sure to achieve great success in the WWE. If they are eager to get him through their backstage processes, then he’s impressed them.
