Chuck Liddell is the latest UFC star to be arrested.

Liddell, a former UFC champion and member of the UFC Hall of Fame, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. ESPN is reporting that Liddell is being held in the Los Hills Sheriff’s Station on $20,000 bail.

He was booked around 2 a.m.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau, officers were dispatched to Hidden Hills, California around midnight Monday morning. They responded to a domestic disturbance and took Liddell into custody shortly after.

Liddell won the UFC light heavyweight title and was involved in several high-profile feuds with Tito Ortiz.

After his MMA career, Liddell took an executive position with the UFC. He also was cast in several movie roles and on many television shows, showing his expanded reach outside of just the MMA world.

Liddell married Heidi Northcott over a decade ago. The two have two children, one more in 2011 and another two years later.

Recently, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was also arrested on domestic violence charges in Las Vegas.
