Dana White: UFC Is ‘One Place That Is Not’ Politically Correct

Dana White

UFC president Dana White has never been shy about voicing his opinion.

White did it in support of President Donald Trump.

He has done so in support of his fighters and numerous other things along the way.

So, it should come to the surprise of nobody that White is once again voicing his voice.

“I say it all the time,” said White during a recent post-fight press conference. “This is not a nice sport. This is a very rough sport.

“We saw a lot of mean things to each other and justice gets served at the end of the day.”

Mix in testosterone with sensory overload, weight-cutting and the excitement of fighting and it makes complete sense what White is saying.

White was fired up after being asked about an incident this week. That incident, as reported by National File, came about when an Israeli fighter mockingly referred to his Afghani-born opponent as a “terrorist.”

“Are we going to do anything?” White asked back. “It got done. You know what I mean? It’s the beautiful thing about this sport.

“When you have a situation like that, the best way to solve the problem is you fight. And you fight legally and you get paid to do it. That’s what happened.”

White continued, saying these sort of things happen in combat sports all the time. He stated that he did not believe the line was crossed.

In the fight Tuesday night, Javid Basharat earned the win over Oron Kahlon. Basharat earned a submission win in just 48 seconds, earning a contract in the process.
