The WWE and other promotions are reeling about the disgusting news that wrestlers are drugging women and it was common knowledge. Also, Tommy Dreamer issued a statement on his comments from Dark Side of the Ring, which resulted in his suspension.

The pro wresting world was rocked this week with the return of Dark Side of the Ring. Typically, the shows get attention, but this particular episode has angered many.
In the debut for the second half of season three, the Vice show covers The Plane Ride From Hell. Basically, a long flight of WWE superstars got way out of control and now more details are being shared.
One of the issues addressed was the use of H-Bombs among the locker room. Those are drugs that when slipped into a drink have the same affect of the date rape drug.
After the episode aired, fans found a shoot interview with Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. He admitted that wrestlers used them for terrible things and The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty) were no different.
So far, neither Michaels or Jannetty have commented on accusations. Also, we are not able to confirm if the report from Beefcake is accurate.

Now, “The First Lady of Professional Wrestling” Missy Hyatt is talking about the business during her time. She did not condone the use of the drug, but admitted that it was common along with other things within the locker rooms.

The Plane Ride From Hell did result in WWE parting ways with talent. Although, it seems like most got a way with their actions.
Now, with the mounting pressure from fans and sponsors, WWE might have to do something. Few of those involved in the incident still work for WWE, with the exception of Brock Lesnar, so punishing someone will not be easy.

Speaking about the incident, Tommy Dreamer has already been punished. He did not attend the recent Impact Wrestling tapings and is currently suspended.
There is no word on how long the suspension is or if certain tasks need to be accomplished before returning.
Dreamer was on the plane and a guest during the episode. So, he is in hot water for his statement about Ric Flair exposing himself to everyone.
“He could move his hips, twirl it and so his well-endowed penis spins around like a helicopter,” said Dreamer. “So, hey, he’s the Nature Boy for a reason.”
“He’s got a hammer on him. Ric Flair’s not going to try to impose by force any sexual stuff onto anybody.”
“He’s just flaunting, styling and profiling, doing the Ric Flair stuff where everybody’s going to laugh about it. But obviously, someone took offense to it.”
Well, one flight attendant appeared on the episode and stated Flair exposed himself privately and wanted her to touch him. Like the rest, there has been no comment from Flair.
But, Dreamer did issue a statement through PWInsider.
“Regarding my comments made on Dark Side of the Ring. It was never my intention to offend, hurt or victim shame anyone. I understand my comments were insensitive and could trigger emotions in someone’s own personal past and I do not condone sexual misconduct of any kind. I apologize to anyone I offended. From the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry.”
All around, a truly disgusting incident for those involved. Anyone who took part needs to be held accountable.
