There were two major returns at SummerSlam with Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch, which has the USA Network concerned about RAW. Also, will Roman Reigns being turning face again in the near future?

USA Network Concerned About RAW

Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar made some explosive returns during the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) this past weekend. Both are heading to the blue brand.

After defeating Bianca Belair, The Man is now officially the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar has his sights set on the current Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

This is a huge blow to Monday Night RAW, as both superstars were once on Team Red. Sounds like the USA Network isn’t too pleased with the changes.

RAW’s Losing Superstars & The USA Network isn’t Thrilled

Andrew Zarian notes the Network’s reaction during a recent Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast. USA isn’t happy about the blow to their roster.

According to Zarian, they feel like SmackDown has more talent. The perception is Team Blue is “stacked”.

They may not be wrong. Becky Lynch is undeniably one of the top superstars on all three rosters, today.

Meanwhile, fans know that Lesnar is a marquee attraction. Having both talents head to SmackDown is huge.

Interestingly enough, the network understands the name-value some superstars bring to the table. That’s why they were shocked when Bray Wyatt was let go.

With both Lynch and Lesnar on SmackDown, it seems like a superstar shift. It’ll be interesting to see what happens after the WWE draft in October.

Speaking of the blue brand, WNZ has an update on Roman Reigns. More specifically, some information on his character.

Roman Reigns Turning Face?

Many within the WWE Universe feel as if Roman Reigns is at his best right now as a heel. His in-ring work is spot on, and so are his promos.

With Brock Lesnar’s return, it seems that the Beast is going to be the babyface in this program. That is, so Roman Reigns can stay heel.

As per PW Insider’s Mike Johnson, Roman is not turning babyface. In their past feuds, Lesnar was heel and Reigns was a face.

This will not be the case this time around. Roman has so much momentum this time around as a heel.

Brock Lesnar Verus Roman Reigns – 2021

Creatively, it makes sense to keep Roman’s character intact. Plus, the Paul Heyman element to this storyline will keep their rivalry fresh.

It’s interesting to note, Brock hasnèt played a true face since 2003. This was WrestleMania season when he went up against Kurt Angle.

This happened when Paul Heyman turned against Brock for another client. Kind of the same scenario that is unfolding, currently.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar have had several bouts over the years. Lesnar has always had the title and been heel.

This time around, the roles are reversed. Seems like Brock Lesnar will give Roman Reigns a run for his money.

Regardless, it doesn’t seem as if Roman Reigns’ current character will undergo any changes, anytime soon. The WWE has found a nice recipe for success with this superstar.
