SummerSlam is about two months away and here’s the latest Edge update. Also, Brandi Rhodes gave birth to her first child with Cody.
Edge SummerSlam Update
With summer almost here, WWE has big plans. Fans are returning in about a month and then there is SummerSlam in August.
Currently, WWE wants to make the show epic. We are talking about bigger than WrestleMania.
So, they have been talking about bringing in some huge names. John Cena is rumored to take on Roman Reigns, The Rock and Becky Lynch might also return.
And, it is all but confirmed that Edge will compete at SummerSlam. Currently, there is no word on who he will challenge.
But, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted how he will return as a babyface.
After almost a decade away from the ring due to injury, Edge was cleared to compete again. He mostly feuded with Randy Orton.
Then, he switched his focus to the Universal Championship.
In the main event of WrestleMania 37, Edge and Daniel Bryan were pinned at the same time by Reigns. Since then, Edge has not returned to TV.
Already, fans are speculating who will take on Edge. Since Edge will walk in a babyface, fans are narrowing in on a heel.
If Edge is still part of SmackDown, that lowers the options for opponents. A popular name being tossed around is Seth Rollins.
Edge vs. Rollins does have that big match feel. Also, it would be the first time they ever wrestled each other.
Well, fans will know soon enough what WWE has planned. Edge is expected back in mid July for the first SmackDown with a crowd.
Basically, there is a good chance Edge’s SummerSlam match will be booked on that night. Or, at the very least, his next program begins to play-out in-front of our eyes.
Brandi & Cody Rhodes Become Parents

Only a few days ago, Renee Paquette gave birth to her first child with J0n Moxley. They named their baby, Nora.
Now, another high-profile AEW couple has grown by one. Brandi and Cody Rhodes are proud parents to a baby girl.
