Felice Herrig: “Have you ever been super hard on yourself or overly critical ?? Well that’s me to a T . It’s made me work really, really hard and fight for everything i want and believe I deserve in life.
“But even with how hard I work i’ve never felt like I was good enough or doing enough anyway. I’m a text book over thinker. Nothing is ever enough for me and I am never good enough for me
“But the silver lining here is that my injury and recovery has changed my mind set.
It took me to a place of being more proud and grateful. I have overcome a lot in my journey.
“Instead of focusing on all the things I don’t have I am now grateful for all that I do have. And I have been given another opportunity to fight and do what I love most. That’s a blessing in itself.
“I get to fight on the biggest stage in the @ufc . Not many people can say they’ve had that opportunity.
“So here I am, And I am beyond happy to be able to step into the octagon next week and do what I set out to do.”
