Just moments after Stipe Miocic earned a decision victory over Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones came calling.
Jones, still the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion, explained how he would defeat the current UFC heavyweight titleholder.
“Avoid Stipe’s right hand, I’m too fast,” Jones wrote on social media. “I’ll be too strong when the time is right and have way too much energy.
“Soon and very soon I’ll be considered the baddest man on this planet.”

Jones announced he was walking away from the UFC earlier this year. He has not competed since defending his title with a decision victory over Dominick Reyes.
During the UFC 252 main event, Jones was very active on social media.
“For some reason these heavyweights don’t seem so big to me,” he wrote. “This is exciting for me.”

He even gave some words of encouragement to long-time rival Cormier.
