The third meeting between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier is now official, as the heavyweights will square off at UFC 252.
Miocic will defend his UFC title on August 15 against Cormier, who has held both the heavyweight and light heavyweight titles before.

The two have split their first two meetings, with Cormier winning the first in 2018 and Miocic avenging the defeat – and winning back the title – a year later.
The UFC has packed together an eventful summer with Kamaru Usman defending his welterweight title at UFC 251 from “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi against Gilbert Burns. That card will also see Alexander Volkanovski put his featherweight belt on the line vs. Max Holloway and Jose Aldo vs. Petr Yan for the vacant bantamweight belt.
