After UFC 249 Win, Greg Hardy Wants On Joe Rogan Show

Greg Hardy

Greg Hardy took his UFC 249 post-fight interview opportunity as a chance to ask Joe Rogan question.

Hardy, a former NFL all-pro who is quickly transitioning into MMA, proposed an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience next.

“It’s like going to Disney World,” Hardy said of his rapid climb up the MMA ladder. “It’s a rollercoaster-like no other.

“The next stop is the Joe Rogan show.”

Rogan, conducting the interview, agreed with Hardy.

Inside the Octagon, Hardy improved to 6-2 with a no-contest by besting Yorgan De Castro. After being on the receiving end of several early leg-kicks, he heard the advice of ringside analysis Daniel Cormier.

Cormier, a former UFC heavyweight champion, could be heard with the event taking place inside an arena in Jacksonville, Florida minus fans.

“I heard ‘DC’ saying to check the leg kicks,” Hardy said. “So that’s what I did. It was a game-changer.”

Hardy was coming off a loss to former Bellator champion Alexander Volkov, but showed his worth in that bout by going the full three rounds and 15 minutes with the veteran.

Since joining the UFC in 2019, Hardy has gone 3-2 with a disqualification loss and a no-contest in a bout he had won before the result was changed.
