Amanda Nunes

At UFC 232 in Inglewood, California on December 29, 2018, Amanda Nunes made history.

The Brazilian stopped Cris Cyborg as the reigning UFC featherweight champion, becoming a two-division titleholder.

Nunes has held the featherweight title for over 460 days. She has yet to defend the belt.

Cris Cyborg

After dominating other promotions, Cris Cyborg finally made her way to the UFC.

At UFC 214 in Anaheim, California on July 29, 2017, Cyborg won the belt, besting Tonya Evinger. The title had been declared vacant.

Cyborg would score defenses over both Holly Holm and Yana Kunitskaya before losing it. She held the belt for 517 days in all.

Germaine de Randamie

The first-ever UFC featherweight champion, Germaine de Randamie’s reign was short lived.

De Randamie earned a victory over Holly Holm on February 11, 2017 at UFC 208 in Brooklyn, New York. The two were paired up for the inaugural title.

However, officials would strip de Randamie of the championship on June 19, 2017 after she refused to defend against Cris Cyborg.

UFC In The 2010s: Looking Back At Female Flyweight Division

Since there has been just two champions in the division, the flyweight division gets thrown in here.

Nicco Montano won the title after coming out of The Ultimate Fighter 26, while Valentina Shevchenko is the current holder of the belt.

Valentina Shevchenko

After stripping Nicco Montano, the UFC put Valentina Shevchenko and Joanna Jedrzejczyk together to crown a new champion.

Shevchenko, a former title contender, won the belt with a  victory at UFC 231 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has scored three defenses since, holding the title for almost 500 days.

Her wins include vs. Jessica Eye, Liz Carmouche and Katlyn Chookagian.

Nicco Montano

The first champion in the UFC at the weight, Nicco Montano bested Roxanne Modafferi in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale in 2017.

Her reign lasted 280 days before issues with cutting weight forced her out. The UFC stripped her of the title after that.
