On his official Twitter page, Janela wrote “Didn’t get on my flight for AEW Dynamite, I’m not going. Nothing was addressed about the way I was eliminated from the match last week, I’m losing all the steam I created on my own through 14 years of hard work, right these wrongs and answer the phone.”

The match Janela was referring to was the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale in which he was eliminated by Shawn Spears during a commercial break. There was no promotion for him to appear this week on the show.
Janela also lost to Spears during Full Gear earlier this month. He earned his first AEW victory in October with a singles win over Brandon Cutler.
