Two Major Superstars Have Not Re-signed With The WWE

It's contract negotiation season and two major superstars, AJ Styles and Randy Orton, apparently have not re-signed with the company.

It is that time of the year again where a lot of superstars sign their new contracts with the WWE. However, this year, two major superstars apparently have not re-signed with the company.

Styles and Orton Have Not Re-signed!

Online magazineĀ ForbesĀ reports that both AJ Styles and Randy Orton have not re-signed their contract with the WWE. It is believed that Styles has been negotiating his new contract with the company since November. Last month, he also denied having signed a new agreement with the WWE.

ForbesĀ also reports that Randy Orton’s contract will expire at the end of 2019. According to the magazine, Orton has also stated an interest in All Elite Wrestling and that he is willing to negotiate a deal.

The arrival of AEW puts a lot of wrestlers in a prime negotiating position. It is unlikely that the WWE wants to lose out on stars such as AJ Styles and Randy Orton, so it would make good sense for them to negotiate a better deal.

Randy Orton and AJ Styles Are Expected to Stay

Styles and Orton have been treated relatively well by the WWE, which makes it unlikely that they would get a poor deal from the WWE. Both men also have a good standing with the company, so the WWE will do its best to keep these two stars on their roster.

Of course, a good relationship with the WWE and legend status do not not necessarily mean a guaranteed spot on the roster. Remember, AEW outbid the WWE for Chris Jericho. If Orton and Styles are showing an interest in All Elite, the WWE might have to fork out some serious dough to keep them.

Despite all the speculation, Orton and Styles are happy in the WWE (as far as we know). Since they are in a prime position in one of the biggest promotions in the world, many believe the pair will remain with the WWE.

Superstars More Likely to Leave

Some WWE superstars are more likely to make the switch to AEW than AJ Styles or Randy Orton. Mainly those superstars who are dissatisfied on the roster.

Superstars that have been linked to AEW include Harper, Tyler Breeze, Tye Dillinger (released), TJP (released), Mike Kanellis, and the Revival. Whether or not we will see any of these people on AEW remains to be seen.
