Matt Hardy has never been a man who keeps things on the down-low. In fact, it is one of the things I adore about this wrestler, since we always know what’s going on.
This week, Matt Hardy has revealed his contract is up in just 10 days. As far as we know, there have not been any contract negotiations for him. So what will happen to this legend of the multiverse?
Matt Hardy Would Be a Big Loss Inside and Outside of the Ring
While the WWE might not be paying a lot of attention, they should. Matt Hardy is a creative mastermind, yet the company has not used him to his maximum potential.
Even though Matt Hardy had to take a step back from the wrestling ring, how great would it be to have him at the helm of WWE’s creative department. The man invented an epic persona for himself. It got so big the WWE picked him back up from the indies. Do I need to say more?
The WWE is struggling creatively, yet they refuse to put some people in charge that actually have the talent to rectify things. Matt Hardy could be the WWE’s saving grace, yet they cannot see it.

A fan responded to Matt Hardy’s Tweet about his contract running out. The fan stated that the threat would make him impossible to DELETE. Hardy mentioned it was not a threat, stating he is a survivor.
If the WWE does release Matt Hardy, he is certainly one of the people that would draw big on other promotions. It won’t matter if he wrestles or is the creative mastermind behind the promotion. One thing is certain, the WWE cannot afford to lose Hardy, even if they do not realise it yet themselves.
