UFC 232: Michael Chiesa Subs Carlos Condit

Michael Chiesa made the most of his welterweight debut today at UFC 232, by submitting longtime contender, Carlos Condit.

Condit came out firing strikes but Chiesa clinched up and swept him to the mat. Condit scrambled back to his feet, but was taken down again not long after. Moments later, Condit rolled into an armbar that had Chiesa wincing, but the former lightweight worked his way out.

In round two, Chiesa quickly took Condit to the mat and began working a kimura. Condit attempted to defend, but Chiesa prompted the tap-out by extending the veteran’s left arm back even further.
