Former UFC stars Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell fought under Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy MMA banner this past weekend, and Liddell got smoked. Badly.

UFC boss Dana White wasn’t too thrilled to see his old bud Liddell go down like that. He said as much, and blamed De La Hoya for putting the fight together. He also added a few colorful insults into the mix.

Well, De La Hoya has responded. And he too is hurling the hate.

As per MMAFighting:

“Dana is so small and threatened by our success with [streaming service DAZN] and now in MMA that he is bringing up news from a decade ago to try to stay relevant,” De La Hoya’s statement read. “Boxing has entirely rejected him. And MMA fighters are now realizing they don’t have to risk their lives just so he can get rich.

“Golden Boy and I are moving forward and are bigger than ever. Dana should shut the f*ck up and try to figure out how to save his own company.”

This really is the most mileage we’re going to squeeze out of this Golden Boy MMA event. I mean, unless someone suddenly drops dead because they fought on the card. And I seriously doubt there are going to be many more of these shows – if at all. So enjoy!
