Khabib Nurmagomedov has been known to throw some words into the mix, while beating down his opponents in the Octagon, and that was the case at UFC 229.
During the recent pay-per-view broadcast, Khabib could be heard talking to Conor McGregor, as he fired down punches from above in round two. But, due to the broadcasting team etc, it was kind of hard to make it out what was being said.
Well, in a new video clip below, the audio from the bout has been isolated, and subtitles have been added. There does seem to be some debate online, however, whether McGregor did in fact say it was “just business”, or whether he was making some comment about Khabib’s punches being “kisses”?

Regardless, it’s a pretty fascinating glimpse into Khabib’s mindset for the bout.
