Over the weekend, tributes continued for Brian Christopher Lawler, aka Grand Master Sexay. The former WWE star died on Sunday, July 29th after he was found hanging in a jail cell in Memphis. The wrestler and tag team star was laid to rest in a custom casket featuring his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers as well as Christopher’s WWE name.
Christopher’s father, Jerry “The King” Lawler paid tribute to his son by wearing Christopher’s ring gear in a match against James Ellsworth.
Just wrestled the most emotional match of my career
Words can’t describe the amount of respect I have for @JerryLawler
It’s a true honor and pleasure to share the ring with him always .. pic.twitter.com/cCHoUGLwD4
