The 8 Best Pieces Of WWE Fan Art

Fan art is an interesting thing. Some of it is good enough that people pay money for it, some of it is downright awful, and some of it should never be allowed to exist outside the darkest corners of the deep web where most people will never, ever see it.

But have no fear, because this article only showcases the good stuff that you won’t be embarrassed to be caught looking at at work. Without further ado, here are eight of the best pieces of WWE fan art.

CrossFit Jesus

Seth Rollins has many nicknames: The Architect; Kingslayer; The Captain. But the greatest of all his many monikers is undoubtedly “CrossFit Jesus,” and artist Pigeoness blessed us all with a portrait of his visage. Behold:

This is my absolute favorite WWE fan art ever and I need a copy of it stat for my desk at Ringside Intel HQ. Even better, Rollins loves his CrossFit Jesus nickname, too. As he told ESPN in January:

“I think I bear a striking resemblance to the western version of Jesus Christ of Nazareth facially with my own beard and long hair and stuff like that, and I’m always talking about CrossFit, so somewhere along the line, somebody put that together and came up with the CrossFit Jesus moniker, which is fantastic. I think it’s wonderful. It’s funny and it’s correct and my wrestling school made a T-shirt out of it.”

Excuse me while I go buy that t-shirt.

Samoa Cookie Joe

If there are three things I love, it’s wrestling, cookies, and puns. And wouldn’t you know it, artist Steve Yurko managed to combine all three of those with his drawing of Samoa Joe as a literal Samoa Girl Scout Cookie.

That’s one tough cookie. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself).

All kidding aside, I highly suggest you check out Yurko’s Twitter and Tumblr accounts as he has lots more great WWE fan art.

Team Little Big

Much like Roman Reigns believes he’s the uncrowned Universal Champion, I believe Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss – a.k.a. Team Little Big – are the uncrowned champions of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge. Despite losing in the semifinals to the tournament’s ultimate winners, The Miz and Asuka, Bliss and Strowman were far and away the fan favorite – and their alliance spurred tons of great fan art.

Bliss shared several pieces of Team Little Big fan art on her social media accounts, including this one by artist Nadia Ramlan (@oniwanbashu) of Bliss using a ladder to show Braun who’s boss:

But my personal favorite Braun and Bliss fan art is another piece from Steve Yurko, who perfectly captured both their onscreen personas:

I’ll take a Team Little Big reunion any day.

The Devil

Many wrestlers formulate their characters by taking an aspect of their personality and/or interests and turning it up to 11. Similarly, artist Nadia Ramlan took Aleister Black’s interest in the occult and used it to turn him into a tarot card. Specifically, the card of the Devil:

From his eerie entrance to his poetic way of speaking, Aleister Black is one of the most enigmatic and alluring characters in all of WWE, and Ramlan’s piece of fan art perfectly captures that aesthetic.

Pop Art Paige

Portraits are hard. Even for the best artists, it can be difficult to capture a subject’s defining features on paper. But this pop art portrait by artist Dave Jorel couldn’t be mistaken for anyone other than Paige.

Not only are the colors in this portrait amazing, but it depicts my favorite version of Paige, before all the Del Rio drama and the unfortunate injury that ended her in-ring career. That being said, Paige is killing it as SmackDown GM, and I couldn’t be happier that she’s in a better place now, both professionally and personally.

The Wyatt Family

At the height of their success, the Wyatt Family was one of the most completely realized groups in all of WWE. This cartoon by artist jkipper is an excellent ode to the eerie backwoods cult vibe that Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan brought to our television screens every week.

Seriously, WWE – bring back the Wyatt Family.

80s Asuka

With her multi-colored hair, mismatched gear, and over-the-top extravagant kimono, Asuka’s character is the kind that begs to be turned into art. And while the Empress of Tomorrow has shared several fantastic pieces of fan art on her social media, I absolutely love this 80s-inspired work by NatashaS-13.

Is she a WWE Superstar or the newest member of Jem and the Holograms? Either way, she’s totally rad.
