Money in the Bank is coming closer with every passing day, but not everyone is as excited about its arrival. Still, I am cautiously optimistic about the pay-per-view, since there are some things we should be excited about. So, if you are unsure whether or not to watch Money in the Bank, allow me to convince you!

Money in the Bank Has Consequences

One of the things we should remember about Money in the Bank is that the pay-per-view can have serious consequences on either Raw or SmackDown Live. Whoever wins the briefcase almost has a guarantee to become the next champion, so it could shake things up a bit for either of the two brands.

Most people prefer to see someone from the Raw brand with the briefcase; everyone is waiting for Brock Lesnar to drop the title. If someone from the Raw brand takes that briefcase, it becomes more likely for Lesnar to finally end his stint as the WWE Universal Champion.

MITB Can Create a New Breakout Star

Even though Money in the Bank did not do much for Baron Corbin, there have been many cases in history where the winner of the Money in the Bank became a breakout star. A prime example is Seth Rollins, who became one of the company’s leading heels after winning the briefcase.

Seth Rollins winning the Money in the Bank briefcase had some serious consequences too. He had undoubtedly one of the best cash-ins ever at WrestleMania. So this is something we could be getting again depending on who wins the Money in the Bank briefcase during the men’s and women’s match.

Female wrestlers only had one Money in the Bank match before, but Carmella became the one who held the briefcase the longest. Her cash-in may not have been as spectacular as other cash-ins in the past, it certainly kept everyone on their toes and made for some good television.

Carmella is another prime example of how a Money in the Bank briefcase could change a person’s career. Carmella was fading in the background a bit, but winning that briefcase did her the world of good. She is undoubtedly one of the top heels in the women’s division now.

Money in the Bank Feels Bigger Than Survivor Series

Even though Survivor Series is named as one of the ‘Big Four’ (the four biggest pay-per-views of the year), Money in the Bank has been a better pay-per-view for years. Many fans see Money in the Bank as one of the biggest pay-per-views, so the WWE might have some surprises in store for us.

Yes, the WWE may be a little lackluster during the summer months, but this does not mean everything will be bad or mediocre. So, why not give the WWE the benefit of the doubt and just enjoy the great show WWE superstars, writers, and the production team are going to set up for us?
