
Well, this is certainly coming out of nowhere. After a marquee feud with Daniel Bryan, it looked like Big Cass was on the verge of a big push. Alas, the direct opposite occurred. WWE released William Morrissey (aka Big Cass).

The statement regarding the release tells us a lot by saying nothing.
“WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”

We aren’t sure why Cass was released. He had been dealing with a few injuries. We will update this story as soon as we learn more and why.
