The Greatest Royal Rumble is already living up to its name, and it hasn’t even happened yet! The WrestleMania-esque mega event will take place inside a massive (sold out) stadium in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah. Every male WWE title is on the line. Triple H faces off against John Cena for the first time in a decade PLUS the Undertaker will try to put Rusev 6 feet under in a Casket Match. Hard to argue this isn’t the biggest event of the year. But, as the name suggests, the main event will be a “50 Man Greatest Royal Rumble.”
A lot of current and past names are already confirmed, but we got learned of two more big WWE icons who will make the trip to Saudi Arabia for the Greatest Royal Rumble.
In addition, 13-time World Champion Randy Orton, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, three-time World Champion Rey Mysterio, former Universal Champion Kevin Owens, SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon and former World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali have officially entered the first-ever 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match.
Wow! Shane, Rey Mysterio, AND the Great Khali? WWE is going for it with the Greatest Royal Rumble.
The show will be broadcast live on the WWE Network at Noon Eastern time (7 pm in Saudi Arabia) Stay tuned all week for coverage, previews, updates, and spoilers for what is already WWE’s most significant overseas event in history!
