WrestleMania plans for some significant superstars are up in the air. Usually, the WWE sets up some rivalries building up to a big match at WrestleMania by now, but these plans seem to be lacking for some major stars at the moment. Curious which stars? Find out by reading our overview below.
Joe is undoubtedly one of the more exciting people to watch, but an injury puts him out of commission for some time. As an unfortunate result of his injury, storylines for Samoa Joe went out the window.
The WWE seems not to have any plans for Samoa Joe at WrestleMania because the wrestler is not advertised for any event between now and WrestleMania 34. While his injury is to blame here, it is hard to believe that Joe will not be back in time for WrestleMania. If there is a chance he will recover before then, the WWE should start planning right now.
A superstar who is not injured at the moment, but does not seem to have any plans for WrestleMania is Finn Balor. While there is some talk that Finn might be facing the Miz for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania, there is little evidence that this will be the case.
The frustrating thing as a wrestling fan is that Finn Balor is so famous and beloved, but the WWE is not using him to his full potential. Rumors that Vince thinks Balor is not over enough certainly do not help the situation, making many fans increasingly angry over a lack of plans for the Demon King.
People may be swearing at the moment since many believe that Triple H had too many big matches at WrestleMania already. But seriously people, just how entertaining is it to see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their entrance as the ultimate baddies at WrestleMania.
Would I like to see Triple H at WrestleMania this year? Of course, he is one of the reasons why I feel entertained after the big pay-per-view. I cannot imagine what it would be like not to have H and Stephanie on the big stage this year, so writers better give us something soon!
Much like Finn Balor, Seth Rollins is another major superstar who finds himself in limbo at the moment. The sudden injury of Dean Ambrose did not do him any favor since the WWE had some serious storylines planned for the Shield. Instead, writers seem to be lost at what to do with this talented wrestler.
One saving grace for Rollins at the moment is the fact he was included in the Elimination Chamber match. Before the match, leaked promotional material seemed to indicate the spot would solely go to Finn Balor. However, the outcome of the match saw both superstars take the win and both going into the Elimination Chamber to try and conquer a spot at WrestleMania. Still, with some of the other superstars on the roster, chances of this are unlikely.
Aside from being the main attraction on the Raw brand at the moment, there does not seem to be any plan for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania at this time. The same thing happened last year, where we could only admire Strowman during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Seriously, how long do we have to wait until this man gets his deserved shot at the WWE Universal Championship? He fills seats, sells merchandise, and frankly is one of the main reasons why I am looking forward to watching Raw. Unfortunately, the WWE might be planning to crown Reigns as the Universal Championship again, leaving Braun Strowman with little else to do…
