Tenille Dashwood, formerly known as Emma in WWE, recently became available for independent bookings, and she’s already doing pretty darn good for herself. On Friday, she was added to Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor Tournament to crown the first ever Women of Honor Champion.

Dashwood was the final woman to enter the 16-woman tournament. She’ll face Stacy Shadows in her first round match-up. (Also, is it mean to hope that Brandi Rhodes wins her first round match-up just so I can see Tenille destroy her?)

Ring of Honor aside, Dashwood looks to have a completely booked schedule. She’ll face Leva Bates (a.k.a. Blue Pants) in Atomic Wrestling Entertainment on Feb. 16 and will challenge Allie Recks for the PPW Women’s Championship on Feb. 17th.
Keep an eye out for my tweets each week to see where I’ll be that weekend! Schedule is packed and I love it! See you all soon!

Earlier this month, Lance Storm – the person who trained Dashwood – refereed her match against Rachel Ellering in What! Wrestling.
Very cool to have my trainer @LanceStorm referee my match against @RachaelEllering this past weekend! Thanks @WHATomorrow and the fans for an awesome night! pic.twitter.com/sWTdPxEA2l

Dashwood is clearly hitting the ground running in her newfound independent career, and I couldn’t be happier for her. She’s a great talent, and she was unfortunately taken for granted during her time in WWE. However, she’s only 28. I have a feeling that, like Drew McIntyre and EC3, Dashwood could very well make a name for herself elsewhere and have WWE come calling again.
