Triple H Spotted Having Dinner With Ronda Rousey And Agent

If you want Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble, the odds might have just shifted in your favor.

TMZ is reporting that Triple H had a covert dinner with Rousey and her agent, Brad Slater, at Republique in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. And while it could have just been a get together between friends, the timing is notable: Triple H skipped the SmackDown Live taping across the country in Birmingham to attend the dinner, and he’s typically present for all live TV tapings.

Pro Wrestling Sheet previously reported that she is scheduled to be filming a Mark Wahlberg movie in Colombia while the Rumble is happening. However, that hasn’t stopped people from assuming she’ll make an appearance: betting odds give Rousey a 4/7 chance, or -175, of being a surprise entrant.

But just as many are against the idea:

Others still have floated the horrific theory that the women’s Royal Rumble match was only created for Rousey’s benefit:

There are going to be a lot of upset people if that’s true, yours truly included. Whether she shows up at the Rumble or not, it seems inevitable that Rousey will wind up in WWE – and how they handle it will be absolutely crucial. In my opinion, turning her into the female Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar is not the way to do it.
