The 2018 Royal Rumble event is special. Not only do we get the traditional 30-man Rumble but we also, for the first time, are getting the first ever WOMEN’S Royal Rumble match. The Women’s Revolution presses on with another historic milestone.
The women’s event was full of surprises, but the biggest came AFTER the show ended!
Asuka won the first Royal Rumble, but the moment of the night came after the match when the SHOCK OF THE CENTURY happened!!

It looks like to me that Rousey will be challenging for one of the belts and Asuka the other.
And it isn’t just a “one and done” either!

And maybe she’ll be in the Wrestlemania MAIN EVENT!
Charlotte Flair told ESPN that it would be her dream to main event WrestleMania 34 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on April 8 against Ronda Rousey. It would mark another significant first for the women of WWE.

Frankly, I’m glad they didn’t put Rousey in the Rumble. It was a tribute to the women who built wrestling. Rousey is a star attraction who will make Wrestlemania can’t miss once again!
