The last three years have seen a surge in women’s wrestling in WWE. Long gone are the bra and panties matches and mud matches. Instead, a new crop of female wrestlers has shown that they can put on a wrestling spectacle just as good as the men can. We’ve seen everything from a female Money In The Bank match to a Hell In A Cell featuring two women. On the December 18th episode of Raw, Stephanie McMahon made an announcement that evolved the Women’s Revolution anew!
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
History WILL be made on January 28th when the women of @WWE compete in a #RoyalRumble match! #RAW pic.twitter.com/ohhilj8rsp

The women of WWE deserve this. They’ve worked their tails off the last few years to raise the standard of female wrestling. This isn’t just about “giving Divas a chance.” This is women taking the opportunities given and crushing all the expectations.
I can’t wait.
