The Cruiserweight Division Gets Justice On Enzo!
Ever since winning the Cruiserweight title at No Mercy, Enzo Amore as done little more than lob insults and “no-contact” clauses at his fellow high-flyers. That changed when Kalisto was brought into the division and made, by default, the number-one contender. Enzo continued his defiance and hatred. He brought out GM Kurt Angle to explain himself. Angle, far from agreeing to Enzo’s terms, told the Smacktalker that he’d be facing off against Kalisto for the Cruiserweight title in a Lumberjack match. The division Amore had maligned would be the guarding the ring. The 205Live crew was more than happy to put Muscles Marinara in his place. Leading to one great moment after another.
Shockingly, Amore wasn’t willing to take the “L” lightly.
The Hounds Dispense Their Own Form Of Justice!
We told you the Shield was back. If that opening segment wasn’t enough, they decided to put a little more fear into the hearts of the roster. After Braun Strowman destroyed Matt Hardy and began to carry him to the backstage area like a monster dragging a carcass, the Hounds of Justice decided to dispense a little justice of their own to the Monster Among Men.
The Shield then cut a near-classic promo. They’re just missing the hand-held camera!
And it is far from over!
The Shield is back and everyone is excited. There hasn’t been a more influential faction in WWE in the last decade. Their re-formation isn’t a “nostalgia” act. It is the three top talents in WWE joining forces to do what they came to WWE to do, fight injustice and shake-up the whole system. I am not sure where they go from here, but that is part of the excitement and the ride. It is refreshing to see a lot of the detractors finally enjoying wrestling instead of constantly complaining about it.
Of course, some people are still of the mindset that this is all about making “Roman look strong.” Which may be true, but why should you care? How does that harm what is happening right now? The Shield is destroying everyone in their way. The Miz and Braun went after all three members. They are working as a team like they used to. However, the crowd is behind The Shield and ready for them to dispense their own form of justice.
