Samoa Joe Returns After Knee Injury And Wrecks Havoc

In August, Samoa Joe suffered a leg injury. He required a lot of time off and some surgery. Via PWI: he suffered the injury at a live event in Arkansas. At the time of his injury, Joe was a main event star and destined for big things. PWI provided a further update on Joe’s status.

PWInsider.com has learned that WWE star Samoa Joe was in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this week to have his knee injury diagnosed and fixed.

We are told the updated outlook for Joe being out of the ring is 4-6 weeks.

Birmingham is the location of the Andrews Sports Medicine And Orthopedic Center. The Center is led by revolutionary surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Andrews’ specialty is repairing ligament damage, particularly in the shoulder and knee. We can infer from Joe’s visit to Dr. Andrews that he suffered some minor ligament damage.

Joe commented on his injury and multiple surgeries as well as his plans for his return here.

Well, great news fans. He’s returned for the October 30th Raw. Joe cut a promo on the crowd and then went after poor Apollo Crews.

During the match, Joe showed he was back in true form!

Joe went on a RAMPAGE destroying Titus O’Neil after the match. Then he let the WWE know he wasn’t back to play. Poor Mike Rome always gets the brunt of these interviews.
