The Battleground PPV was not great. But the opening match was! The New Day faced off against The Usos. The two teams have been trading barbs in and out of the ring. The build to it was great. There were a lot of fun moments from the match.

But in the end, there can only be ONE (three) winners.

The New Day Makes History
The New Day joins Alexa Bliss as the only people to hold both divisional titles on Raw and Smackdown during the new Brand Split era.
It is obvious that The New Day is by far the most popular tag team in WWE. They’re colorful gear, props, and general irreverence breathed new life into the Tag Team Division when they debuted over two years ago. It is surprising that a tag team that had a horrible start to their run would end up being so popular. Just goes to show you that anyone can get a chance and run with it in WWE!
