WWE management is notorious for pushing its own agenda, not listening to the Universe and the wrestlers they want to see more. This year was no different, as many talented wrestlers were left on the proverbial shelf. Here are some of the current WWE wrestlers that should be pushed, but aren’t.
Gallows and Anderson
A tag team that has been extremely underused in the WWE is undoubtedly the team consisting of the Good Brothers Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. With decades of experience behind them, fans simply cannot see why the Good Brothers do not play a more prominent role in the current tag team division.
The Good Brothers are undoubtedly a victim of the WWE’s lack of creativity, and the fact they push their own agenda. What I would give to see another title run for the Good Brothers, as well as some decent storylines to go with it.
The Revival
After making them jobbers to several other tag teams, the WWE has been trying to correct the wrongs with The Revival. But, it seems to be too little too late.
WWE put little effort into pushing The Revival when they came to the main roster. The pair were also plagued by injury, putting them on the bottom of the tag team division.
The IIconics
Everybody loves The IIconics, but they seem to be jobbers at this point. They killed it on NXT, but once again the WWE seems more interested in pushing its current stars in tried and tested rivalries. As a duo, The IIconics have very little left to do.
Bobby Roode
With one of the most iconic entrances and a lot of experience, things should have been easy for Bobby Roode upon his transition to the main roster.
Instead of using Bobby Roode to the maximum with his awesome heel persona, they threw him in a tag team with Gable. Even though Gable is just as talented as Roode, both men have been plagued by terrible bookings and even worse storylines.
Rusev
When you look up mistreated WWE wrestlers in the dictionary, you would probably encounter a picture of Rusev. Over the past three years, Rusev has shown WWE brass he can pull off personas such as the ruthless heel, comedic bad guy, and even the likable athlete. Despite all this talent, the WWE refuses to put its pushes behind The Bulgarian Brute.
Finn Balor
One of the most talented wrestlers, Bullet Club leader, and one of the most decorated wrestlers of the indie circuit, Finn Balor was a serious contender. Then, he got moved to the main roster.
While Finn was the first one to win the WWE Universal Championship, the WWE has shown little interest in another title shot for the Irish wrestler since his injury. A real shame.
