I already covered some of the reasons why the WWE should turn Roman Reigns heel, but there is reasons to keep him ‘tween (between good and bad)’ or as a good guy. I’m a big believer in turning Roman heel, but there are fans who believe Roman should keep doing what he is doing. Here are some of the reasons they list for Roman keeping his current character and ‘tween’ status.

1. Colossal Fan Base of Women and Children

This is probably one of the only reasons I agree with wholeheartedly. Love or hate Roman Reigns; the fact is that he is one of the top merchandise sellers with a huge fan base consisting of women and children. If Roman were to turn heel, it is likely women and children will drop him as their favorite.

2. Turning Him Heel Will Make Things Worse

Some casuals (people who watch the WWE every now and again) believe that booing Roman Reigns is the ‘cool’ thing to do. They do not care that his skills and his mic work have gotten a lot better, they just follow the general trend. Many of the WWE Universe believe that a heel turn could make things even worse. I could not disagree more with this statement. What is the worst that could happen? Does Roman get more aggro from the crowd? Newsflash! I don’t know if the WWE has watched his recent matches with Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe, but the reaction was not that positive. Fans were even leaving in the middle of the match! So, turning him, heel could be the better option.

3. The Roman Experiment Needs Time to Work

This is another claim that goes around within the WWE and the WWE Universe, but I do not agree with it whatsoever. The Roman experiment has been going on for so long, and all it has done is push people further away from the wrestler. Don’t get me wrong, I do not think Roman is a bad wrestler, far from it, but his pushes have left many wrestling fans with a bad taste in their mouth. Give the man the change he needs, and maybe he can finally get over with the crowd.
