Phoenix, Arizona authorities didn’t charge Enzo Amore with sexual assault, but WWE still fired him. The company did not wait for the outcome of the court case, which is quite reasonable considering the severity of the charges put against him.
After months of being off the radar, Enzo Amore broke his silence. Enzo invited fans to Times Square, but also released a public statement regarding his statement a couple of years ago.

Enzo Amore released the announcement on his Twitter account. This statement was drafted by the general counsel of Enzo Amore.
As seen in the statement, there is insufficient evidence for any criminal charges to be pressed against the former WWE wrestler. Therefore, the law will not prosecute him.

What Does This Mean for Enzo’s Wrestling Future?
I have to be honest; I do not think that authorities refusing to press charges makes any difference for his wrestling career. The WWE is probably unwilling to rehire Enzo, mainly because the wrestler caused some problems within the company before the allegations came to light. While Enzo might reappear in the indie scene, he has mentioned he would like to focus on a rapping career. Time will tell what the future has in store for him.
