Wrestlemania is a month away, and Matt Hardy is inching towards the Final Deletion against Bray Wyatt. But where is Jeff Hardy? The Charismatic Enigma has been out of action for several months since September with a shoulder injury that required surgery. The timeline was 4-6 months, meaning that Jeff could be back soon. But will he back in time for Wrestlemania?
Here’s the latest update on Hardy’s status from ProWrestlingSheet:
Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Jeff Hardy is ready to return to action after getting the green light from his surgeon and now he’s just waiting on clearance from WWE.
As you may recall, Hardy underwent successful rotator cuff surgery in October and multiple sources tell us Jeff’s surgeon cleared him last month … which is why he was recently in Birmingham, Alabama getting evaluated by WWE doctors.
This is great news. Jeff’s Impact feud with his “Broken” brother Matt was a huge part of the two revitalizing their careers and returning to WWE in at Wrestlemania 33.
Potential Plans for Jeff Hardy
What will Jeff’s place be now that Matt is fully Woken and Broken? Perhaps Brother Nero will join his brother on the path of DELETION. It is also possible that the two will compete for the Raw Tag Titles against The Bar, who seem to be heading towards an “Open Challenge” of sorts at Wrestlemania.
The likely scenario is that he feuds with his brother and the two dive deep into the beautiful “Broken Universe” the two created along with Impact stalwart turned WWE employee, Jeremy Borash.
Expect drones, lakes, leaky boats, fireworks, and any other chaos the two innovative brothers can come up with. I’m looking forward to Jeff’s return and know he and Matt will put on an incredible program.
