Summerslam is coming closer every day and many fans believe that the event could be the perfect time for some returns. One of the returns that is possible for Summerslam is none other than the longest reigning Diva’s Champion – Nikki Bella.

I am an avid follower of Nikki and Brie’s YouTube Channel, since it gives you a sneak peek into the lives of these female wrestlers. It is during one of the videos posted on their channel that Nikki teased her return.
During the video, Brie said:
“Rumours said that you might be at Summerslam, is that true?”
To which Nikki replied:
“There Might be a surprise”
A return of Nikki Bella to the SmackDown brand would make sense. Even though the women’s division on SmackDown is a dozen times better than that of RAW, it could certainly use another veteran injection.
Last Seen at WrestleMania
The last time Nikki Bella was seen in the ring was at WrestleMania, when she battled the Miz and Maryse alongside her now fiance John Cena. Wrestling fans got a nice surprise during WrestleMania too, because this was the event where John Cena finally popped the question.
After WrestleMania, the couple announced to take some time off from wrestling. However, the break was not tremendously long, since Cena made his return a couple of weeks ago. Nikki is now rumoured to make her return soon too.
Any News on Their Wedding Plans?
It has been a couple of months since the wedding proposal, but not much is yet known about the impending wedding of John Cena and Nikki Bella. Nevertheless, their wedding is undoubtedly the most anticipated one in wrestling history.
Despite the little information, there is available about their impending wedding, we did manage to dig up some small details. Here are how things stand at the moment with the wedding.
Firstly, Nikki has stated that they are only in the planning stages of their wedding; this is not surprising considering the busy schedules of the power couple. However, Nikki did express she would like to get married at least within a year.
She has also been spotted shopping for a wedding dress! Nikki also said she would love a wedding dress in the style of Grace Kelly, which is certainly one of the most memorable wedding dresses in the world!

Surprisingly, Nikki Bella has also stated she does not want a huge wedding, but rather a medium-sized one; this is quite surprising given the love of luxury both John and Nikki have! Either way, if Nikki gets what she wants, her wedding will have approximately 150 guests.
Still, Nikki will have to mind her spending, because John is in charge of the budget. Hopefully, Nikki can keep up with the latest rule of John Cena, but being a successful businessman and wrestler, I doubt she’ll mind!
