The Extreme Rules PPV exceeded all expectations. There wasn’t a real dud match on the card. That’s surprising for any show, much less one in the early-summer low period. There were a few surprises but perhaps the biggest was Samoa Joe becoming the number one contender. He will face off against Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire in July. The build for that match begins tonight.

Here’s everything we’re looking forward to on tonight’s show.

***UPDATE***

On Facebook, WWE announced a MASSIVE Main Event quality match to start off the show!

Samoa Joe begins his camp

After his shocking win last night, Samoa Joe will begin his preparations for facing off against Brock Lesnar.  Joe went on Raw Talk after the show and cut a deadly serious promo. He knows that both him and Lesnar are prize fighters who want fortune and glory.

Joe will no doubt open the show and possibly be confronted by Paul Heyman.

Beginning of Broken?

The Hardys lost their tag titles in a fun but confusing steel cage match against Cesaro and Sheamus. It seems that the antics of Jeff caused the match to be lost. Perhaps that is what will take Matt over the edge. Expect a rematch tonight and tension between the brothers.

Little Miss Bliss Stands Big

Alexa Bliss absolutely dominated Bayley last night in their kendo stick match. Bayley never got a single swing in and hardly any offense. Bliss firmly placed herself atop the women’s division. Who is next? All signs point to Nia Jax.

We will see how that unfolds tonight.

Who is attacking Enzo?

The last two weeks have seen Enzo Amore laid out backstage. Theories are running wild across the Internet as to who is behind the attacks. Enzo and Cass will be looking behind their backs.

And all the rest!

  • What is next for Reigns, Rollins, Wyatt, and Finn?
  • The Miz’s 7th IC reign begins.
  • What information does Corey Graves have on GM Kurt Angle?
